Regan Bervar
Born and raised among the mountains and sea, Regan has always been inspired by a desire to capture the beauty of the world, inside and out. Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, Regan moved to the mainland as a child, settling in Washington state where she found Bellingham as her home base.
Regan studied Critical Media Practices at the University of Colorado at Boulder for two years focusing on media production and journalism while also working on her minor in art history. Transferring from Colorado to Washington state, she furthered her studies for three years at Western Washington University majoring in Visual Journalism where she worked multiple quarters for The Planet Magazine and The Western Front. She was honored as the Planet Journalist of the quarter in 2018.
Regan uses photography as a way to capture the beautiful things she is moved by and bring them home to share with her family and friends. She draws inspiration from nature and the colors and patterns of the world around her that are woven into her unique style of photography and writing.
Right now, Regan is working at Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham, WA as a social media manager.
Please don’t hesitate to contact her. She loves talking about projects and photos!
